Are you owed for all the work you did as a soldier? You have put your life on the line in a job for thousands of people so they can sleep tight at night. So, in turn, you think you will just coast through the rest of your life?
I see this being the new trend within our veteran community. How did we go from being men and women of honor to ‘feed me, clothe me, and employ me?' Going from silent warriors who will serve till the last of their days to the people who spend a majority of their time making sure they ‘get what they are owed .’
•Yes, you were are a soldier.
•Yes, you did the work.
•Yes, you did things most could not image.
However, there is still more work to be done. You need to change your mindset from, "I am due," and pull up your big boy pants. Then say, "I will do," and go out and get it.
Energetically, you become a victim the moment you say ‘I am due’ and leave the power to systems and people to take care of you, direct your happiness and even the future.
Even when it does not work out for you, continue to show up as the bad-ass you are, constantly. If you believe it, then everyone else will as well.
Pull the needing hand in, and put the leading hand out. ================================
